Expensive but worth it.

Fit is just right. I ordered two sizes up from my normal size. It may shrink a little. But jeans are comfortable right out the box. Reminds of how Levi’s used to feel and look when they were made in USA. This is about my fourth pair of Levi Vintage series, I get 4-5 years out of pair by following the instruction. Best advice: Do not wash after wear all the time! Must have been why all my jeans lasted a year at most back when I was younger and did not know better.

What I really like is fit on the Levi’s 1955’s, Boxy and slightly wider bottoms, suit my style, Also the fact being Japanese made, the detail is spot on!

Raw Denim Sizing

If you are 33" waist and 32" leg measurement in Levi Jeans, if you are buying "Raw" denim jeans , buy a size 34" waist and 34" leg. Then, when you get them soak them for an hour in cold water, then change water in sink a couple of times while hand rinsing. After drying them completely on the line give them a steam iron. They should now fit you pretty perfectly. If they are still fractionally long in the leg they will probably be perfect the next time you rinse them in cold water.

These are my favorite style of 501. Very roomy without looking too baggy. Better than the original, better than the 1966... These are the best.
