We teamed up with VERDY—the graphic artist from Tokyo and the brains behind Wasted Youth and Girls Don’t Cry—on this limited-edition collaboration that merges both of his worlds into one collection.
Over the course of his meteoric rise from creating flyers for punk shows to now one of Japan’s most influential graphic artists, VERDY has gained a devoted following for his high-profile collaborations, and has since shaken up the streetwear scene.
For this collaboration, we combined our shared love for American workwear and innovative originality to create a capsule that unifies both of his projects. VERDY has taken Levi’s® pieces and given them his own twist by injecting his designs and messaging straight into the collection. The result: a perfect union of iconic materials and unique streetwear-inspired style.
The heroes are the Levi’s® x Wasted Youth Workers Jacket, Levi’s® x Girls Don’t Cry Corduroy Overalls, Type III Trucker Jacket and the women’s 701 Jeans.
